The great Smile For a While label is going into their third year now, and here they come up with the 4th release. This one comes from Tassilo Vanhöfen who is 25 years old and lives in Frankfurt, where he was born and raised. "Acrobatic EP" is his first release commercially available and the S4AW crew found him randomly on the internet and immediately liked his fresh and melodic tunes, flavoured with Italo Disco Boogie and 80s Synthesizer Mania. Now finally an EP has materialised out of this long term musical relationship.

Opener ”Acrobatic" is a first class rump shaker. Rollin and stompin, slippin and slidin it’s a real cherry bomb! Iron Curtis, who releases on Retreat, 4Lux and many other big labels, was crazy about doing a remix for this tune, and boy what an explosive piece of deep house he turned out as a result.

"With You" lets us take part in a space race with some drunken Russian Kosmonauts doing a disco lap dance out in the great wide open. its cosmic and funky and magical in atmosphere, before "For Lolita" then makes for a perfect sundowner, a magical mystery tune from the deepest vaults of Frankfurt. In all, this is another class EP
